What We Believe

Our teachings are inspired by and based on the word of God. We acknowledge Him in all our ways and allow Him to direct our paths.

The Scriptures ~ 2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Salvation ~ Romans 10:9-10

We believe scripture as it is written: 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Baptism ~ Colossians 2:12

We believe that water baptism is symbolic of the believer’s death to sin and resurrection to the newness of life in Jesus Christ. 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Holy Spirit ~ John 14:26

We believe the Holy Spirt is a gift given to those who desire and receive. John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Trinity ~ Matthew 3:16-17

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Communion ~ 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

We believe that Communion, was instituted by Christ Himself. 23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

The Kingdom ~ Romans 14:17

We believe that the Kingdom of God is within us and is manifested on earth as we live a lifestyle of Christianity. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Resurrection ~ 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words..
